*MUGWORT, also called herb of the witches, evil man or tobacco of the sailor. Strongly powerful herb in protection and clairvoyance. It stimulates psychic powers, prophetic dreams and astral projection. Its planet is Venus, and in occult botany it is collected on Fridays before sunrise. Symbol of love, desire, mental power and protection. Frequent smelling of rosemary wood is said to help preserve youth. It is one of the oldest incenses. It is said that smelling rosemary smoke on embers helps to find answers and that a sachet filled with rosemary was given to sailors and travelers for luck on their voyages. Rosemary has been used in all kinds of magic since ancient times, including black magic.
