It is the second rune of the Norse Futhark.
Uruz represents the bison, strength, vital energy, health, transformation, shaping from within. It is a rune of endurance and increases self-knowledge, self-understanding.
It defines the origin and destiny of things. In Norse mythology the Uruz rune is represented by the cow Audhumla. Uruz is the unmanifested energy before creation, it contains the primal force. Uruz embodies ancient wisdom.
It heralds unexpected changes, effort to achieve our goals. Uruz reversed indicates health problems, use of our strength in the wrong direction and warns us that it is not a good time to make changes.
 
This representation of the Uruz rune is based on traditional runes made of wood or stone. I made this pendant in birch wood from our forests, burning the Uruz rune symbol in a handmade way. Finished with natural wax and oil to nourish the wood and help your pendant stay with you for a long time.
