The energy of Imbolc is so strong and primal that I have let myself be carried away to create this elixir. I wanted to reflect the moment we are in, the passage from darkness to light, ice and fire, Cailleach and Brighid...and so I have created one of the two infused oils for the Imbolc ritual. Cailleach represents the dark side of the goddess of winter. Without darkness there would be no light, embrace your darkness and accept it, only then can you welcome the light and fire that is coming....
 
* CINNAMON, called sweet wood. Symbol of spirituality, psychic powers and protection. In ancient times it was used to make perfumes of the Sun. Its warm aroma brings vitality and helps to get out of isolation and indifference. It has high spiritual vibrations and stimulates clairvoyance. The Egyptians used cinnamon in mummification and the Hebrews used cinnamon oil in sacred rituals. It motivates to undertake actions alone without the need for more human warmth. It brings us back to our inner self.
 
* PINE, associated with the goddess Venus, the pine is a symbol of longevity, loyalty and protection. Great ally in times of fatigue, deep tiredness and depression. Its aroma is warm, harsh, resinous and woody. Pine calms the mint and helps it to escape. Essential for those who need to anchor themselves to reality and see life with optimism. The strength that this tree represents and brings is so powerful that in ancient times it was said that he who picked a pine cone in mid-summer and ate a pine cone every day, would be so strong that he would become immune to firearms.
