The energy of Imbolc is so strong and primal that I have let myself go to create this elixir. I wanted to reflect the moment we are in, the passage from darkness to light, ice and fire, Cailleach and Brighid...and so I have created one of the two infused oils for the Imbolc ritual. Brighid represents the fire of the maiden, the light to come. Without darkness there would be no light, embrace your darkness and accept it, only then can you welcome the light and the fire that is coming....
 
*LEMON, its astrological element is the Moon. It is a symbol of longevity and purification. It is said that in ancient Egypt two thieves were condemned to be bitten by a wild beast, but neither of them noticed any pain. They say that the night before they had only eaten a lemon. The next day they were exposed to the same beast. One of them had eaten nothing, and the other had eaten a lemon. The one who had eaten the fruit again passed the test without pain and was released. Lemon juice is added to bath water at Full Moon to benefit from the purifying properties.
 
* CINNAMON, called sweet wood. Symbol of spirituality, psychic powers and protection. In ancient times it was used to make perfumes of the Sun. Its warm aroma brings vitality and helps to get out of isolation and indifference. It has high spiritual vibrations and stimulates clairvoyance. The Egyptians used cinnamon in mummification and the Hebrews used cinnamon oil in sacred rituals. It motivates to undertake actions alone without the need for more human warmth. It brings us back to our inner self.
