So much meaning in so few words. The last few years have been revealing for me, as a herbalist and as a being connected to the Territory. We think we know everything, that we have reached the most inhospitable places, the forgotten corners. We live in the future, instead of enjoying the present. We walk in tomorrow, thinking about the next season, about what is to come and how to live it. But we are forgetting the most important thing: to live in the present, to connect with the Territory and the environment today and now. Only then we will be ready to enjoy tomorrow. Our ancestors are part of the land where we were born, their legacy is a wild force that we must maintain, it is an old dance that tingles in our bare feet, it is a legend that survives passing from mouth to mouth. Already we are thinking of a spring equinox warm and full of life, where the dense, fluffy carpets of leaves that cover the Forest become a fertile, bright stage where the grass embraces small, brightly coloured plant creatures. But we forget that it's still winter. And today we do not look to the side of the road, as the smallest signs of persistence in the face of life watch us walk without any destination.
