CELTIC MAGIC, THE SONG OF THE DRUIDS

Only the elders remember it, they tell it in a low voice, when night falls, beside a fire that reflects in a special way in their eyes. Some are still afraid, but the pride in the memory of their ancestors is greater.

It is said that sorcery was common among the ancient Celts, and the Druids mastered it to perfection. In England such folklore and memories are still passed down from father to son, grandfather to grandson. In the Scottish Highlands this tradition is deeply rooted and is not lost between generations, but kept alive. The spirit of their ancestors is so strong that in England, Scotland and Ireland families have amulets that are passed down from generation to generation. These amulets are strongly linked to the magic of the ancient Celts and their use is varied: to cure illness, bring good luck, bring fertility, cause illness or even death.

It is said that the most powerful magic could provoke death through song and rhyme. In Ireland the ancient Druids could "rhyme man or beast to death". The power of their words was so great that they invoked the darkest and most ancient magic, and thus caused sickness and death. The satires and song were a curse, and sometimes they even affected Nature, causing seas and rivers to recede....

Now, before this immense and beautiful image, I wonder if this landscape was always like this, or if perhaps it is the result of the words of some old sorcerer...
